01 the brief
Her photographs had to lead, in English and German, and each series needed its own pace instead of one long grid of images.
02 what i built
Every series moves differently: a sticky text column with parallax photos for Body & Form, a framed photo that opens to full screen for Landscapes, and a pinned horizontal journey for Nature & Wildlife. The page colour cross-fades between chapters, matched to her portrait.
03 key features
- 01A viewfinder opening: corners draw in while the portrait comes into focus
- 02A full-screen photo viewer with arrows, swipe and Esc
- 03Page colour that shifts per chapter: cachemire, fig leaf and rust
- 04English and German, both prerendered, with the language remembered
- 05Built on the shared Design Lab tokens
